Any enterprise that successfully participates in internationalization and taking its way towards globalization is required to be fully integrated into foreign cultures. To implement corporate social responsibility and take upon itself world corporate citizen is an important bridge for an enterprise to establish trust with stakeholders at its operating locations. With TCL accelerating its pace of globalization, its corporate citizen actions in Vietnam and France have won more and more local appreciation and respect.
TCL sponsored French Culture Year
During the Sino-Culture Year in 2004, TCL invested 600,000 euros (equivalent to RMB12 million) to sponsor the promotion of French Culture Year and provided equipment support at the opening ceremony. TCL supports Sino-French cultural exchange with full heart. TCL Corporation was awarded by the French President Jacques Chirac with a French Medal of Honor.

In December 2005, in the face of the major catastrophe suffered by Southeast Asian countries, TCL Corporation joined hands with Red Cross organizations in Guangzhou to officially launch the "World Heart" international relief operation in Guangzhou to call on enterprises and citizens to provide humanitarian aid to tsunami-affected areas in Southeast Asia. TCL launched the "World Heart" international relief operation to raise fund and help the victims through direct donations inside the Corporation, calling on employees to solicit contributions and organizing charity sale.

TCL developed assistance programs to help the flood victims of Pakistan
From July to August, 2010, Pakistan suffered from devastating floods; one-fifth of the land was flooded, with stricken area of more than 16,000 km2 and affected people of more than 20 million. TCL Pakistan office quickly communicated with local partners to develop assistance programs. On September 23, TCL special vehicles full of donated supplies arrived in Kot Addu, a city in the south of Punjab that was one of the worst flood-affected areas, to provide urgently-needed food, milk and other materials to local residents.
