Buenos Aires, May 19, 2010.- TCL, leading international company in electronics, reaffirms its presence in our country through the visit of Li Dongsheng, TCL Chairman and CEO, to communicate the launching of “The TV set of the Future”, the new line of High Definition Digital Television – LCD and LEDmanufactured in our country. Established in our market since 2004, TCL operates under the license and guarantee of Radio Victoria Fueguina.

The new TCL High Definition Digital TVs for the local market are:

LCD M100 Digitun Erios (available in July 2010)

This state-of-the-art TV set features an integrated digital tuner, which enables the direct reception of signals, with no decoder. With High Definition (HD) reception it can reach 1080P or Full HD, in where resolution can reach 1920 x 1080. The TCL series M100 permits the visualization of exquisite high contrast colors and deeper blacks. Additionally, it has an USB port that can read music,images and videos. It also has a Natural Light system that saves up to 50% of electric power.

LED M200 (available in August 2010)

32”, 40”, 46” and 55” TCL’s LED M200 The new generation of TCL LED (Light Transmitter Diodes) TVs is a milestone for screen retro lightning technology. It reduces interference patterns, improves color and maximizes contrast by generating “live” images with excellent depth.

This new technology admits the design of an “ultra thin screen” (less than 3 inches deep). It is also “Eco Friendly” since it maximizes the use of power by reaching a 50% reduction as compared to conventional LCDs. Additionally,no mercury or toxic paints are used for its production, thus protecting the environment from the very production process. TCL’s LED M200 has a “Black Crystal Panel”, permitting the perception of very high levels of contrast which generate an unaffected image never seen before. And the revolutionary aspect is that it has Multimedia USB 2.0 and with a built-in decoder; through a Plug & Play interface, M200 series TVs provide access to a wide variety of entertainment Multimedia programs. And what makes the LED M200 really unique is its “Touch Sensor” technology, a unique and exclusive feature permitting the operation of the device through a sensitive side touch panel, without any button.

3D Display TVs of the future (coming soon)

TCL is researching and developing new TVs with 3D auto-stereoscopic technology that will soon beavailable in Argentina.

The 3D technology is obtained by alternating images that reach the left eye, and the right eye sequentially at an unperceivable speed, thanks to special glasses produced to such aim. Through the combination of lenticular glasses and special software, 3D images are generated directly for the human eye, with no need for glasses. The new TCL TVs reproduce signals in Full High Definition (FHD) with high level of realism.
