How to watch Super Rugby on Your TCL Television
Super Rugby has gone through some major changes recently. The original Super Rugby format that many people knew is no longer following the 2020 coronavirus outbreak.
The South African teams have blended into the European Pro 14. This has left the teams from Australia and New Zealand to get creative with Super Rugby AU and Aotearoa. All 10 Super Rugby AU and Aotearoa sides are now taking part in the first-ever Super Rugby Trans-Tasman tournament. This will be known as Super Rugby Pacific 2022.
Each side from Australia will play every side from New Zealand once across 5 rounds. The two most successful sides advance to the Grand Final.
Super Rugby Pacific 2022 began this year on February 18th with a match between the NSW Waratahs and Fijian Drua. The regular season is scheduled to end on May 29th, 2022 with the Grand Final to be played on June 18th, 2022.
Who are the teams in Super Rugby Pacific 2022?
Twelve teams are taking part in the new competition with all sides put in one pool, rather than split into different geographic conferences.

· Western Force
· Queensland Reds
· NSW Waratahs
· Moana Pasifika
· Rebels
· Hurricanes
· Highlanders
· Fijian Drua
· Crusaders
· Chiefs
· Brumbies
· Blues
Moana Pasifika and the Fijian Drua are the two latest additions to the Super Rugby tournament.
The Fijian Drua team has previously competed in Australia's National Rugby Championship, where they won the title in 2018.
Moana Pasifika is an entirely new franchise and has signed a number of players from local Samoa, Tonga and other Pacific Islands. We are excited to see how this new team will perform.
Both these teams will play their home fixtures primarily in New Zealand. Fiji Rugby Union will announce where Fijian Drua home matches will be held shortly.
How to watch the Super Rugby Pacific 2022 fixtures on TCL
