São Paulo, February 21, 2019 - TCL, top three global television brand and leading consumer electronics company, announced that it will become the regional partner of the CONMEBOL Copa América Brasil 2019, the world’s oldest international continental football competition and one of the most influential football championships, held from June 14 to July 7 in five Brazilian cities.
TCL’s partnership with the 46th edition of the Copa América, which will be played by South American football teams including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, and two guest teams from Asia, Japan and Qatar, will come into effect from February 21, 2019 to December 31, 2019. It is TCL’s latest collaboration in its stellar series of well-established, extensive sponsorship programs, showing its passion to connect with growing sports communities and fulfilling its commitment to global consumers. This partnership follows its recent collaboration with the Brazil National Football Team.

As the official partner of the tournament, TCL will also enjoy brand exposure via pitch-side adverts, referees’ uniforms, and VAR equipment, as well as extensive promotional activities across online, social, mobile and offline channels. In addition, TCL will exclusively provide industry-leading TV products across all venues, allowing football fans to enjoy a high-definition, immersive viewing experience.
To reach out to more football fans, TCL will roll out a series of co-branded marketing activities with the CONMEBOL Copa América Brasil 2019, including launching co-branded products, TV commercials, souvenirs, among other initiatives in designated markets. The company will also host official site activations across all venues, where football fans can experience TCL’s diversified smart products and enjoy promotional discounts. Furthermore, it will launch give-away campaigns to give football fans the chance to win tickets to the competition.
