Shenzhen, February 5, 2018: TCL, one of the top-three global television manufacturers and a leading consumer electronics brand, unveiled Neymar Jr., one of the world’s most influential and widely-recognized athletes, as the company’s Global Brand Ambassador.
The exclusive partnership with Neymar Jr. is TCL’s latest initiative in an extensive programme of premium sports sponsorships worldwide, which underpin the company’s goal to connect with its growing community and fulfil its commitment to its global consumers.
The agreement will last for two years, during which time Neymar Jr. will appear on TCL TV and print commercials to promote the company’s major businesses including TCL Multimedia (the group’s TV business) and household appliances. Neymar Jr. will also participate in a series of high impact, global online and offline marketing campaigns for the brand.
The two parties will also link up for charity work. The deal with the 26-year-old Brazilian football superstar is part of TCL’s global brand strategy to help the company appeal to a wider audience of young sports fans worldwide and to raise TCL’s brand visibility.
