Why is my tablet overheating when using Wi-Fi, and how to fix it?

Wi-Fi usage rarely causes overheating — the issue is usually from combined high-load activity (e.g., Wi-Fi + video streaming + bright screen). Fixes:

1.      Stop high-load activities (e.g., close video streaming/gaming apps);

2.      Remove thick/insulated cases — allow the tablet to dissipate heat;

3.      Move the tablet to a cool, well-ventilated area (avoid direct sunlight);

4.      Turn off unnecessary features (Bluetooth, Background app refresh);

5.      Restart your tablet — clears background processes causing excessive CPU usage.
