Why can’t I connect to a specific Wi-Fi router?

Android security tools function by limiting your apps’ access to your device’s IMEI, serial number, and other identifying information. It also gives you a little more protection when using Wi-Fi networks by randomizing your device’s MAC (media access control) address.
If you use your device for business, your organization might require the Wi-Fi MAC address of your device in order to make a wireless connection. The Wi-Fi privacy settings use randomized MAC addresses by default, so you will need to manually change this to “Use device MAC” by following the steps below:
1) Wi-Fi with password lock
a) Touch “Settings”.
b) Touch “Wi-Fi”.
c) Touch the Wi-Fi name to enter the password input interface.
d) Touch “Advanced options”.
e) Touch “Use randomized MAC” under privacy, then touch “Use device MAC” in the pop-up menu.
f) Then input the correct password to connect Wi-Fi.
2) Wi-Fi without password
a) Touch “Settings”.
b) Touch “Wi-Fi”.
c) Touch the Wi-Fi name to save the Wi-Fi.
d) Touch and hold the Wi-Fi name with Saved status in the list.
e) Touch “Modify” in the dialog that opens.
f) Touch “Advanced options”.
g) Touch “Use randomized MAC” under privacy, then touch “Use device MAC” in the pop-up menu

Note: Available settings and menus may vary depending on device model and software version.
