WARRANTY POLICY 



Warranty Registration 

 

For products purchased through TCL Official Store/Sales Channel under Authorised Distributor only.

 

The Product warranty is only valid upon registration of the Product by the original end-user purchaser within 3 days from the date of purchase or delivery either by: (a) sending the “Manufacturer” portion of the warranty card to Authorised Distributor; OR (b) logging on to here for registration.

Upon completion and successfully submitted your warranty registration, a copy of your Warranty Registration will be sent to your email within 3 working day. Look out for the email in your Spam Mail Box if you did not receive the email.

 

Your privacy is important. Hence, all information is captured through secured form and kept confidential.

 

Product Warranty Policy by Local Authorised Distributor

 

The local Authorised Distributor warrants TCL TV (“Product”) to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the period as set forth in this Limited Product Warranty Policy (“Warranty”).

 

The warranty only takes effect upon delivery and successful warranty registration of TCL TV (the “Product”) with the local Authorised Distributor.

 

The warranty is only applicable for the Product purchased through TCL Official sales channels listed below, which are under the Authorised Distributor in Singapore.

 

        a. TCL Official Store in LazMall (www.lazada.sg/shop/tcl-official-store)

 

        b. TCL Official Store in Shopee Mall (www.shopee.sg/tclsingapore)

 

        c. TCL TikTok Shop (www.tiktok.com/@tclsingapore)

 

        d. Smart Tech SG (www.smarttechsg.com)

 

        e. FairPrice Xtra (effective from 30 November 2022)

 

        f. Giant Hypermarket (effective from 06 January 2023)

 

For Product purchased through other seller/ reseller company/ party, not from any of the stipulated TCL Official sales channels under the Authorised Distributor, please approach the original seller/ reseller company/ party for Product warranty and necessary support. 

 

Proof-of-purchase from the official sales channels and proof of warranty registration with the Authorised Distributor are required and compulsory in order for the warranty to take effects.

 

In the case, where customer lost the proof-of-purchase, the Warranty period shall be deemed to have started 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the products or obtained from the serial number.

 

The Product is warranted for the specified Warranty Period from the date of warranty registration with Authorised Distributor against defects in quality and materials under normal, non-commercial use.

 

Within the full warranty period, the Authorised Distributor will, at no additional charge, perform repair or replacement of defects in workmanship or parts of the item covered by the warranty. The warranty limitations and exclusions apply.

 

The Authorised Distributor warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period as defined under “Warranty Limitations & Exclusions”, and will at its sole discretion, repair, or replace the product with a similar Product.

 

Minor imperfections within manufacturing or design specifications that do not materially alter or affect the functionality of the Product are not considered a defect under this Warranty.

 

The warranty covers the repair or replacement of the TCL TV (or the relevant part) with new or refurbished part(s).

 

If the Product requires repair, we may, at our option and sole discretion, repair, replace or exchange it with an equivalent product or part(s) of similar technical specification that may be refurbished or new. We will retain the replaced part(s) or Product that is exchanged during service as Our property. Repaired, replaced, or exchanged parts or the Product will continue to be under warranty for the remaining Product warranty period from the date of original delivery.

 

The warranty is only applicable to Singapore and its islands within the Singapore boundary. All items that are sent or delivered to any regions out of Singapore will not be covered under any return, exchange and warranty.

 

This Warranty does not provide coverage if the Product is situated outside of Singapore.

 

All free gift are not inclusive in the warranty. Warranty does not include any refund be it full or partial.

 

The warranty is not transferable and does not cover any trade-in or top-up upgrade unless authorised by the Authorised Distributor. 

 

The prices stated are applicable and effective during the relevant period of the promotions or order confirmation. There will be no changes on the Product price after the confirmed order and payment made. No further discount, exchange and/ or refund after Product order is confirmed, paid and/ or delivered.

 

The Authorised Distributor reserves the right to impose service or transport charges on the Product which are outside the cover of the Warranty. We also reserve the right to decline to provide service where the Product is obsolete, no longer deemed serviceable, out-of-warranty period, or no longer replaceable for any reason.

 

This Warranty shall be considered null and void if the Product has been modified and/ or tempered by an unauthorised person, party or company.

 

Only Product purchased through FairPrice Xtra and Giant Hypermarket in Singapore AFTER 06 January 2023 (the “effective date”) will be covered under the warranty by Authorised Distributor.

 

For all product sold/ purchased through FairPrice Xtra and Giant Hypermarket in Singapore PRIOR the stipulated effective date, please approach the original seller/ company for Product warranty and necessary support.

 

The Authorised Distributor shall reserve the right to amend, modify or change the terms and conditions in this Warranty herein due to change(s) in the availability of services, products, and/or spare parts or for the purposes of complying with applicable policies, rules, regulations, and law, with or without notice.

 

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

 

This warranty does not cover and is not limited to:

 

The warranty period has expired or voided.

 

Any free gift(s), consumables, and external accessories that may or may not be included during the time of purchase including but not limited to digital antennas for television, remote control, cables, soundbar and brackets.

 

Non-operational, and non-functional part(s) which do not affect the functionality and operation of the Product including but not limited to ports cover, etc.

 

Missing accessories or external parts of the Product, unless such claim is made within 3 days from the date of original retail purchase or delivery.

 

Cosmetic damage to outer surface/finishing and external parts of the Product, including without limitation cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior casing, screen, camera lens, buttons and other attachments. 

 

Damage resulting from use of any type of window cleaner, soap, scouring powder or any cleanser with solvents such as alcohol, benzene, ammonia or paint thinner.

 

Damage resulting from use of abrasive pads or paper towels.

 

Deterioration of the Product due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation rust or stains.

 

General maintenance, password reset assistance, routine servicing and cleaning, updating/upgrading of software, installation of software or applications, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair.

 

Defect caused by excessive use outside the intended purpose.

 

Defect resulted from the abuse of the product or by environmental conditions that are not in conformance with the user manual of the product.

 

Damages caused by connecting non-recommended peripherals, additional equipment or accessories in the user manual.

 

Damages caused by act of nature such as lightning, unusual voltage, fire, natural disaster, rain, etc.

 

Integration of third party application used on- or with the purchase products.

 

Products that have image retention is not covered as it is temporary: it will go off naturally in time.

 

The Authorised Distributor and appointed delivery party/ company will not be responsible for any physical damage to the set that is wall mounted after completion of installation.

 

The wall mount installation services are not inclusive in the warranty.

 

The Product serial number, manufacturing number, barcode or warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, tampered or is illegible.

 

Screen Burn-In under user’s caused damage (such as keeping the TV on for long hours).

 

Zero-Pixel-Policy for 7 days from the delivery date. Up to an acceptable total of 7 bright or/ and dark pixels on TV screen from day 8 onwards, subject to warranty terms and conditions. 

 

Blacklight bleeding (Light Leak) is relatively standard and common with most home devices and screens. Hence, it is not classified as product damage or manufacturer defect.

 

TV Remote Control warranty period for 6 month (exclude onsite warranty).

 

Any other circumstance such that repair would be contradictory or not in compliance with good business practice.

 

Recoveries against the Local Authorised Distributor must not exceed the actual price paid for the Product purchase.

 

You assume all risk and liability for loss, damage, or injury to you and your property and to any third parties and their property arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use the Product not caused directly by the negligence of the Local Authorised Distributor.

 

By agreeing to this, you acknowledge that the Local Authorised Distributor's exclusions and limitations of liability are reasonable in the circumstances.
