Try to connect to your Wi-Fi network between each step:
1. If you don't see your network listed, press the Back button on your Fire TV remote to refresh the network list.
2. Restart your Fire TV device: unplug the power adapter, wait 1 minute, and then plug it back in.
3. Restart your modem and router. If possible, move your Fire TV device and router closer to each other. To restart your home network devices:
- Unplug your modem and router and then wait 1 minute.
- Plug in your modem first and wait for the lights to turn on and for it to connect to the internet (about 1 minute).
- Plug in your router and wait for the lights to turn on and for it to connect to the internet (about 1 minute).
4. If possible, connect your Fire TV device to Ethernet. Some Fire TV devices require an Ethernet adapter for this type of connection.
Note: Have your Wi-Fi password and network name ready. If you can't find your password, go to Locate Your Wi-Fi Password for more help. If you're having Wi-Fi connection issues after setup, go to Can't Connect Your Fire TV Device to Wi-Fi.
