If you're experiencing difficulties connecting your device to the network, a restart of your modem and router may be necessary. To restart or power cycle your modem and router:
1. Unplug the power adapters from both your modem and router.
2. Wait for several minutes.
3. Plug the power adapter back into your modem first.
4. Once the modem is connected to your Internet service, plug the power adapter back into your router.
5. After the modem and router have fully restarted, restart any other connected devices.
