Why Is Prime Video Not Streaming on Your Fire TV?

Encountering Problems with Streaming or Error Messages like "Something Went Wrong" or "Unable to Play"? Here are some troubleshooting steps to try: 

 1. Verify Your Purchase: If you've recently purchased the video, ensure that the order completed by checking Your Orders. 

 2. Check for Software Updates: Ensure your Fire TV is running the latest software version. Navigate to Settings > My Fire TV or Device & Software to check for updates. 

 3. Restart Your Fire TV: Restart your Fire TV either through Settings or by unplugging the power adapter for 1 minute and then plugging it back in. 

 4. Restart Modem and Router: Unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds, then plug them back in. Wait for the devices to reconnect to the internet. 

 5. Clear App Cache and Data: Go to Settings > Applications on your Fire TV and clear the cache and data for the Prime Video app.

 6. Check HDMI Compatibility: Ensure your HDMI cable and display are compatible with HDCP 1.4 (for HD content) or HDCP 2.2 (for UHD/HDR content).
