a) Image quality is likely to be affected by poor light levels. If you shoot in low light situations, the image favours the dark tones with small amount of image noise or shading. It is recommended that you find a well-lit view or environment to take a photo or have a video chat.
b) Try to set the “Brightness” and “Contrast” by accessing the start menu

-> “Settings” -> “Bluetooth & devices” -> “Camera” -> “USB Camera”; Touch “Reset settings” to reset after “Brightness” and “Contrast” adjustment is messed.
