How can I prevent rarely used apps from draining battery in the background?

Go to “Settings” -> “Battery”->”Deep sleep for apps”, find the app, turn on toggle button to active it to enter sleep mode.

Apps in deep sleep will not run in the background to save battery. Their updates and notifications will only appear when used or after turning off deep sleep.
