TCL, one of the fastest-growing brands of the industry and the 3rd largest TV manufacturer in the world*, will showcase its latest product innovations at CES 2014. Amongst these will be the cutting edge 65” Curved UHD and a 55’’ OLED screen. Also on show in Las Vegas will be TCL’s unique flagship 110” UHD screen.
TCL 55" OLED TV
TCL OLED TVs have all the advantages of ultra-thinness, high contrast, high color restoration and optimal energy saving. In terms of picture quality, OLED means bolder colors and deeper blacks, so films and TV shows are amplified on screen and have more viewer impact.
OLED technology represents a breathtaking viewing experience. The result being that there is no discernable blur at all on-screen, so even when there’s fast-moving action, everything stays razor sharp. Whether its 3D or 2D video, OLED technology renders an incredible, crystal clear picture quality.
TCL Curved 65" UHD TV
With an existing strong position on the new 4K market, TCL will be showcasing its Curved UHD TV in Las Vegas. Amongst the first brands to pass through 4K UHD TV testing and certification in China, TCL integrates this sophisticated technology standard of 4K UHD with curved screen to provide better visual enjoyment for consumers.
Why a curve?
Generally when a viewer sits centrally to a flat TV, the corners of the TV are naturally further away than the center, distorting the edge of the frame, and making objects towards the extreme sides of the screen look smaller than elements in the middle. A curved screen brings more uniformity across the whole surface providing a picture closer to the natural field of vision.
The successful development of China Star 110 UHD signifies that TCL has taken a historic step forward in the development and innovation around flat panel displays.
"The array of TCL products on show at CES symbolizes the brand’s constant ambitions to propose to consumers state-of-the-art technology and innovation. From OLED to UHD, we have a wide range to meet every need and a particularly seductive positioning on the UHD segment in terms of price / performance", explains Didier Juin General Manager TCL Europe.
