Position Summary:

TCL is looking for a reliable, experienced logistics analyst to join our growing organization. In this position, the ideal candidate will manage purchase order fulfillments, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics performance. This person must have an accurate and precise attention to detail in order to manage daily operations, logistics personnel, and logistics systems. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with Sales, Business Planning and Finance to determine optimal balance between customer ordering, shipping requirements, customer service, cost and business needs
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Set KPI for warehouse(s), and manage warehouse performance on customer order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
  • Set KPI for trucking partners, and manage their performance customer order fulfillment
  • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
  • Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers
  • Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, cost down effort, qualification, and performance evaluation
  • Lead monthly inventory cycle count and reconciliation
  • Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes
    • Implement organizational process or policy changes
    • Develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Five or more year of experience in a transportation leadership role Work effectively and collaboratively across departments and functions
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience with data analytics and planning
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas and plans to team members and other departments and functions
  • Strong mathematic skills - ability to calculate figures such as percentages, volume, cost, time.
  • Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
