As the number three TV manufacturer worldwide by sales volume, we take pride in what we’ve been able to accomplish globally, but we’re especially proud of what we’ve done right here in North America. Already America’s fastest-growing TV brand, we recently expanded into Canada where TCL is poised to bring bigger screens, best-in-class picture technology, and even more entertainment to customers throughout the region and we couldn’t be more excited to share what TCL has in store for the future.
There’s been news circulating today about restructuring that encompasses TCL’s TV, mobile, and home appliance businesses. Simply put, this is an effort to reorganize the company so that the branded group (TCL Electronics) can be better at doing what it does best – developing consumer-facing product – while at the same time ensuring that the group that creates components and semiconductors (TCL Corporation) can focus on the non-branded side of our business.
These changes exemplify how nimble and far-sighted TCL is as an organization. Adjustments like these will drive new innovations and enhance our capabilities in the categories we currently compete in. This will also help us maintain the rapid success we’ve worked so hard to achieve.
As 2018 comes to a close, we can look back at plenty of successes this year. The 6-Series alone has garnered industry accolades and praise from Digital Trends (Editor’s Choice), New York Times’ The Wirecutter (Best TV), PC Magazine (Editor’s Choice), USA Today‘s Reviewed.com (Editor’s Choice), Tom’s Guide (Editor’s Choice), and even won top honors from CNET (Editor’s Choice), to name just a few.
Best of all, consumers are taking notice of the great products and high-quality service we offer. In PC Mag’s annual Readers’ Choice awards, TCL dominated the TV category. TCL was highly rated on smart TV capabilities which speaks to the convenience offered by our smart TV lineup, featuring Roku baked right in. TCL customers were not only satisfied with their purchase, but the study also revealed they had a higher likelihood of recommending their TV to others. Strong customer satisfaction is what we strive for each and every day and results like this serve as motivation, helping us to deliver even better experiences for our customers.
As we look ahead to 2019, we plan to raise the bar even higher. We plan to give our customers even more of the great value, usability, reliability, and smart TV capabilities that they’ve come to expect from TCL. We also aim to provide experiences that will put customers even closer to their entertainment. As the new year, and the next CES, quickly approaches, TCL is gearing up for an even more exciting year ahead.
