For us, TCL Cares is part of everything we do.

We bring these values into our partnerships as well, finding creative ways to help those in need. This month, that TCL Cares is in full swing supporting unique community efforts with our long-standing partners.

Timberwolves, Lynx, & TCL Team-Up to Bring Tech to Teens

Our first big step this December was working directly with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx to expand access to tech for local youth.

TCL’s continued partnership with the teams led to the creation of this year’s “TCL Big Screen Shootout” fan contests, seen at multiple home games this year. Each basket made by fans at games raised up to $100,000 for local Best Buy Teen Tech centers across Minnesota.

The Best Buy Teen Tech centers give kids access to new technology, mentorships, and training opportunities, helping to move their career paths forward. The combination of young people and access to technology opens new doors and give kids the chance to realize their dreams.

With the Anaheim Ducks TCL Gives

Next up, we partnered with our friends at the Anaheim Ducks in Southern California.

Together with the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, several Ducks players, and the Lady Ducks, we treated local kids to a Target shopping spree!

The kids were part of The Wooden Floor, an organization that transform the lives of young people in low-income communities through the power of dance and access to higher education.

These well-deserving kids had the chance to fill their carts with holiday gifts. That included a TCL TV to help unlock endless entertainment this holiday and beyond.

TCL Cares Continues

Through our partnerships, we are all able to give back to local communities and give kids the resources and opportunities to be successful. In a season that’s often filled with frenzy, it’s always important to reflect on our core values and give back.
