One of the World’s Largest TV Manufacturers to Donate $50 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for Every Pink TCL Roku TV Sold in October

CORONA, Calif., October 5, 2015 - TCL, the fastest growing TV brand in North America, today announced a new charitable giving campaign tied to Breast Cancer Awareness Month and honor those who have battled breast cancer—a disease that affects 2.8 million survivors in the U.S. For every pink TCL Roku TV™ Color Series sold in the month of October, TCL will donate $50 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, whose mission is to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research.

Throughout the month of October, TCL will work with popular bloggers who are passionate about breast cancer awareness and gift them and one of their readers with a TCL Roku TV Color Series pink TV.

TCL is also joining forces with “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” for the second year in a row on a season-long partnership as the official Smart TV of the program, and will be helping “Ellen” honor Breast Cancer Awareness by gifting the studio audience their pink TCL Roku TVs.

“Breast cancer awareness is a cause close to all our hearts, as nearly everyone knows someone affected by the disease,” said Chris Larson, Vice President, TCL. “We hope that our pink TCL Roku TV can help promote this very important cause, and help fund more research that will ultimately find a cure and save lives.”

“By partnering with BCRF, where 91 cents of every dollar is invested directly into our mission, TCL is truly making a direct and substantial impact on advancing breast cancer research,” said Myra Biblowit, President of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The pink TCL Roku TV Color Series is a stylish new 32’’ smart TV that features a bright color palette on the TV bezel (also available in green and blue). The affordable TCL Roku TV Color Series features the Roku® operating system with a personalized home screen, nearly 3,000 streaming channels and a simple user interface that eliminates the need to switch between multiple inputs.
