TCL Wins iF DESIGN AWARD 2022: Breeva Pro 400 Premium & Breeva Pro 700 Premium air purifiers, highly commended for their design aesthetics and minimalistic philosophy

TCL Electronics (1070. HK), one of the dominant players in the global TV industry and a leading consumer electronics company, has received the iF DESIGN AWARD 2022 for the product design of two new air purifiers – Breeva Pro 700 Premium and Breeva Pro 400 Premium. As awareness of home interior air quality (and of the benefits of portable air purifiers) has increased in several European countries^_[1], these two practical and stylish TCL products address a real consumer need. These new Breeva Pro Series will be available in September 2022, first in Europe, with more markets to follow later this year.

An independent jury of international design experts met to determine the winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2022, based on a set of objective screening standards, from five perspectives as idea, form, function, differentiation and impact. For almost 70 years, the iF Design Award has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design. One of the most important design prizes in the world, the iF label is renowned worldwide as representing outstanding design services. This year, 10,776 products and projects were registered for the iF DESIGN AWARD 2022.

Breeva Pro 700 & 400 Premium: a minimalistic design that fits into any interior

Breeva Pro 700 & 400 Premium: air purifiers with a high-performance filtration system breevaShield^TM

Designed for rooms of up to 84 square meters^_[2] and 42 square meters^_[3], these two TCL air purifiers feature a highly efficient Clear Air Delivery Rate (CADR), and the powerful 5-stage filtration system breevaShield^TM, including a TRUE HEPA H13 filter: the filtration efficiency of this high-performance filter is greater than 99.97% for 0.3 μm particles like dust, pollen, mites, bacteria, or PM2.5 (fine particulate matter 2.5). Plus, numerous negative anions are generated through high-voltage ionization to accumulate and settle the tiny particles in the air to protect the consumer from toxins and dust, and the UV rays destroy the DNA and RNA of bacteria and microorganisms to achieve the effect of sterilization.

Thanks to a high-precision dual sensor (with a laser dust sensor to detect the concentration of particulate matter in the surrounding air at real time, and a VOC sensor to detect the concentration of volatile organic compounds in the air such as formaldehyde, second-hand smoke or pet odors), Breeva Pro series continuously measures indoor air quality and it automatically adjust the purification level. For quick and easy control, a three-color air quality indicator is displayed on the control panel and on TCL Home App according to the real-time air quality.

The Breeva Pro Series is also ultra-silent. Its noise level in sleep mode is as low as 26dB, which is even smaller than the sound of people whispering. At the same time, it runs at very low power consumption. Plus, it supports control panel light off to minimize the effect of light while sleeping.

These Breeva air purifiers can be controlled by TCL Home application to schedule cleaning, to check historical air quality data and the filter life, all remotely and directly from a smartphone. Breeva Pro 700 Premium and Breeva Pro 400 Premium are also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
